ECKO Stars In The HBO Max Original Series “Días de Gallos”


Trap music global star ECKO is getting its first screen debut in the new HBO Max’s original series, “Días de Gallos.” 

The HBO Max series about freestyle rap has an all star cast that includes important artists such as trap star, ECKO, alongside renowned actors and actresses. “Días de Gallos” is an HBO Max original series premiering in June 2021, as informed by Warner Media. 

The new hot HBO original serirs“Días de Gallos”, coproduced by Zeppelin Studios, tells the story of the competitive world of freestyle rap in the context of a young adult drama starring ECKO, Ángela Torres (Rafaela), and Tomás Wicz. 

The rising TRAP star ECKO who is currently shooting the series in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and who is one of the multiple international talented artists to get his start at the freestyle rap contests taking place at El Quinto Escalón at Plaza Rivadavia said: “This series is a snapshot of the world I come from, the world of freestyle. I am very comfortable telling this story. I am grateful for the opportunity and to work with a great cast and production team.”

The cast of ‘Días de Gallos‘ is rounded out with renowned actors Julieta Zylberberg, Carlos Portaluppi, Delfina Chaves, and Rafael Spregelburd, and with freestylers and hip hop artists from Argentina Roma, NTC, Klan, Cacha, La Joaqui and drag star La Queen. The 10 episode series premieres in June 2021. 

The year 2020 marked an important milestone in ECKO’s career with the release of the EP Young GoldenThe EP included seven tracks penned by ECKO showcasing the artist’s talent as a lyricist. Young Golden includes collaborations with some of the genres most respected artists including Cazzu in “Cama Vacía”; Amenazzy and Brytiago in “QDLQQ”; Eladio Carrión in “Baila” and Kiubbah Malon in “Flow McGregor.”  

HBO Max will include content from HBO, Turner (TNT, Space, Warner Channel, TBS, Adult Swim), Warner Bros., DC Comics, children’s programming and HBO Max originals.
