The new single is titled ’Why I Really Need’. Mixing soulful vocals and smooth key lines, the contemporary R&B single leans on grooving bass riffs that neatly counter the free-flowing melody. ‘Why I Really Need’ shifts gears from lounge vibes to pop-infused euphoria.

dezabel shares, “’Why I Really Need’ is about that one person you find that you can completely be yourself with. They know you inside and out and both accept and heal your vulnerabilities. I’ve been collaborating with UK-based singer/songwriter Ben Botfield. Together we wrote “When It Comes To You”, “Fewer In The Night” and “Somebody”. As on many of my songs, the Los Angeles-based singer Jazelle Paris gives a typically emotive performance”.

The single looks to focus on love, relationships, and happiness through what’s been a turbulent time. This hearty valentine’s touch certainly provides some welcomed respite.
