Tainy and Yandel Shares New Single “Deja Vu”

Multi-award winning Puerto Rican producer, artist Tainy and legendary musician Yandel join forces for new single “Deja Vu” from their upcoming awaited album “DYNASTY”
“Deja Vu” takes fans back to the early days of Reggaeton with an indelible collaboration, and collaborative album, between two global superstars. The two hosted a one-of-a-kind, historic block party at the Eco Sports Park in Puerto Rico where they gave an exclusive performance and showcased the official video for “Deja Vu” which is available to stream on all digital platforms today. Those in attendance also had the unique and exclusive opportunity to view the “Si Te Vas” official music video ahead of its release later this month.
During the global stadium video premiere, fans and guests watched the two videos as well as had the opportunity to immerse themselves in exclusive Tainy and Yandel content that was only available to those in attendance in the select stadiums around the world. The activations took place in Puerto Rico’s Eco Sports Park, Miami’s FTX Arena, Ft. Lauderdale’s Hard Rock Stadium, Dallas’ Americanairlines Arena, New Jersey’s Prudential Center, New York’s Barclays Center, Mexico City’s Arena Ciudad Mexico, Monterrey’s Arena Monterrey, Bogota’s Movistar Arena, Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena, Santiago De Chile’s Movistar Arena, San Antonio’s At&T Center, and Houston’s Toyota Center.
Now with multiple Latin GRAMMYs & countless multi-platinum records under their belts, they came together to create a project that reflects Yandel’s iconic voice and lyrics with Tainy’s groundbreaking production. With “DYNASTY,” the duo are looking to celebrate the growth and global takeover of Latin music through the eyes and experience of the iconic Reggaeton superstar and Billboard’s #1 Latin music producer for 86 weeks and counting.
“Deja Vu” is a song that demonstrates why they have become regarded as leading figures within the industry as well as exhibits the versatility and experience that Tainy has garnered over his career. Tainy effortlessly blends his high caliber production with the powerhouse vocals and talent that fans have come to love brought to the table by the emblematic Yandel.
Tainy recently also lent his talent’s to Bad Bunny’s new worldwide hit “Yonaguni,” which reached No.3 on Spotify Global and No.10 on the Billboard Hot 100 within days of its release. Earlier this year, Tainy released the hit song “Sunbathe” featuring GRAMMY® award-winning singer-songwriter Miguel. He has also been named the Latin Billboard Awards’ Producer of the Year. In addition to winning in the category of “Crossover Collaboration of the Year” for “Un Dia (One Day)” in Premio Lo Nuestro 2021, it was also nominated for a GRAMMY® in the category “Best Pop Performance by a Group or Duo” for “Un Dia (One Day)” and for producing three finalist songs in the category of“ Best Latin Song ”at the Billboard Awards for“ Dakiti ”by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez; “Caramelo” by Ozuna, Karol G and Myke Towers, and “Yo Perreo Sola” by Bad Bunny.
Tainy’s work has been integral in the success of major world productions such as “Agua”, together with J Balvin (for the official soundtrack of The Spongebob Movie: Sponge On The Run) and “Un Dia (One Day)” the global hit with superstars Dua Lipa, J Balvin and Bad Bunny. He recently worked on Revelación, Selena Gomez’s first all-Spanish album that was executive produced by NEON16/Tainy. Tainy and Yandel are set to release this historic album in the coming weeks.
Yandel also recorded the track, “Marcando Territorio,” for Catch the Throne: The Mixtape Vol. 2, the mixtape soundtrack featuring multiple artists for HBO’s megahit series Game of Thrones. The singer/producer attained another first, by becoming the first Latino artist to stream a live concert via Tidal and performing live at the boxing match produced by HBO Cotto vs. Canelo.
