Rising NYC artist Malik English returns with a brand new single “Feel It”

Malik English is a 21-year old Trinidadian/Nigerian/Canadian artist/producer from Brooklyn, NY. Growing up surrounded by different cultures he never gravitated towards any one style of music. This is evident in his effortless ability to blur genres together creating new palettes and pushing the boundaries further.

Malik says about his new track: “Feel It is that song you jump around in your room to when no one’s looking. I wanted to make it fun and take it back to that garage-band, 2000s MTV era. It’s important for me to constantly show how versatile I am & redefine the stereotypes of what artists that look like me can do.”  

Since 2020, English’s efforts have led to performances at The Apollo, The Bowery Electric, and SOBs since bursting onto the scene. He has amassed over 200k streams on Spotify alone, and the numbers are steadily growing. 

As a young a black creative he feels as if it’s mission to create freely uninhibited by any preconceived notions of what artists that look like him should do. In the end music is about having fun and sharing your experiences. With big things in store, Malik English is headed straight for the top.
