Bakes Is Back With a New Single “My Opinion”
The new single “My Opinion” from the rising rap star shows viable strength and a pinpoint focus rap, in the new single Bakes brings us an East Coast rap song that provides critical commentary on the state of modern rap.
About his new single Bakes shares, “This song came about when I was recording my album “From the Ground Up”. My producer, Isiah Salazar, send me the beat with the concept of doing a straight through flow about how watered down some of the music has become. I compared my style to a full course meal while some rappers are more like fast food. Sometimes what I say can be complex, taking a few listens to digest and catch everything, but that’s what gives it lasting power.”
Over his music career, he has released some non-stop hits including “For a Long Time”, “Illusion”, “Changed”, “Effortless” and many more!
The new single “My Opinion” is one of many acclaimed songs from his From the Ground Up album that indicates he is a purist to the art form, as also shown through his old-school hip-hop vibe.
