Gennadi Grand Resort

Gennadi Grand Resort in Rhodes reopens in June 2021 with New Family-Friendly experiences.

Set on the golden sands of Gennadi Beach halfway between the traditional Lindos Village and Prasonissi, Gennadi is the island’s most stylish family-friendly resort and the perfect destination for those looking for sun, sea, and fun this year. From activities such as traditional Greek cookery classes and salsa dancing lessons to zoo-inspired yoga with children, beach barbecues, and unmissable excursions to surrounding islands, Gennadi Grand Resort has something to suit all ages.

Having released their new Mini Club program for 2021, children and teenagers aged 4-14 years old can take part in a range of exciting activities across themed days, including Greek Culture Day, Olympics Day, Superheroes Day even a Disney Day. Open from Tuesday – Sunday every week, children can try various games, challenges, arts & crafts, and activities inspired by the theme of the day, as well as learning valuable life lessons with a fun twist in the process, such as the importance of recycling, gardening and even the history of the Greek gods. There will also be treasure hunts, beach barbecues, quirky zoo yoga sessions, a mini cinema club, mini disco and talent shows in the evening.

Whilst tiny travellers are not occupied in the Mini Club or Gennadi’s onsite playground, families are invited to learn how to perfect their serve together on floodlit tennis courts or hire Gennadi’s bikes for the day to explore the beauty of the surrounding area. For parents and young adults alike, every Tuesday – Sunday Gennadi will offer a variety of fitness and wellbeing activities as well as exciting educational classes, for those looking to leave Rhodes with more than just a tan.

There will be ‘yogalates’ and body & soul relaxation sessions every morning, as well as Latino aqua gym and beach volleyball sessions in the afternoon. When it comes to learning, guests are invited to experience cooking lessons where families are taught the art of traditional Greek recipes, such as Dolmades (Mediterranean stuffed vine leaves) and Galaktoboureko (a tasty Greek custard pie), and there will also be olive oil tasting.
